- 2 racks of “St Louis” cut pork spareribs
- 1 jar Loveless BBQ Rub
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 jar Loveless “Sweet with a Bite” BBQ Sauce
- 3 cups watermelon, cut into large cubes
Blend BBQ rub and brown sugar and rub ribs, making sure to cover all the surfaces evenly. Smoke until cooked (approximately 2 hours with low heat). Cut ribs into 3-bone sections and place in a roasting pan. Cover with BBQ sauce and watermelon cubes. Wrap pan tightly with foil and braise in a 300 degree oven for 1.5 – 2 hours until the meat is falling off the bone. Serve warm.
NOTE: This recipe is best used on pork spareribs rather than baby back ribs.
