  1. Lightly grease a 2 quart oven-proof dish, set aside. ​
  2. Mix all dry ingredients together in a small bowl.
  3. Place peaches in a medium size bowl, pour orange zest and juice into peaches; toss well.
  4. Add dry ingredients to peach mixture; toss well.
  5. Pour into prepared baking dish; set aside.

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a medium size bowl, place flour, sugar, baking powder and salt and mix together.
  3. Add cold cubed butter and mix into four mixture, until well blended.
  4. Add buttermilk and gently mix into a ball.
  5. Pour out onto a floured board and pat into a rectangle about 1/2 inch thick.
  6. Cut into 2 inch square pieces with a knife or pizza cutter.
  7. Place dough squares into top of peaches and bake into preheated oven for 45 minutes.
  8. Enjoy with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream.
