Countrypolitan Mulled Wine
This is not a recipe to mull over! Cozy up with our Countrypolitan spin on this classic winter cocktail.
- Pour 3 cups of red wine and half the jar of Countrypolitan into a pot. Add sugar, cloves, star anise, nutmeg, cinnamon, orange peel, lemon peel, and orange juice.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer until the mixture becomes thick and syrupy.
- Once thick, add the remaining wine, Countrypolitan, and brandy. Heat just enough to reach a boil and immediately remove from heat.
- Strain the spices from the pot before serving. While the mulled wine is still warm, pour and serve.
