Bacon Jam Sirloin Bites

​These tasty appetizers are a great game day treat. You can prepare this recipe the day before and pop them in the oven just before serving. Yummy!

Ingredients

• 1 pound well-trimmed sirloin steak, cut into 1 inch pieces (1/2 inch thick)
• 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
• 1/2 teaspoon Loveless Cafe Seasoning Salt
• 12 slices Loveless Cafe Applewood Bacon (cut into thirds)
• 1/4 cup Loveless Cafe Peach Preserves
• 1 1/2 tablespoons Grey Poupon Dijon Mustard
• 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
• 1/4 teaspoon Cayenne
• Loveless Cafe BBQ Sauce (optional)

Directions

1. Heat oven to 400°F.
2. Line a sheet pan with foil. Spray with non-stick cooking spray. Set aside.
3. Sprinkle each steak cube with pepper and Loveless Cafe Seasoning Salt. Wrap each with a piece of Loveless Cafe Applewood Smoked Bacon and secure with a toothpick. Place on foil-lined pan.
4. For glaze: In a small bowl, stir Loveless Cafe Peach Preserves, mustard, garlic and cayenne together. If it’s extra thick, add a few drops of water. Brush evenly over bacon-wrapped steak bites.
5. Bake for 15 - 20 minutes or until bacon is crisp and glazed.
6. Serve immediately.
7. May serve with your favorite barbecue sauce or dipping sauce if desired. We like to use our Loveless Cafe Sweet with a Bite BBQ Sauce!
