Loveless Events: Celebrating 10 Years!11/12/2018
Loveless Events is celebrating 10 years of Nashville events in January 2019! Through these 10 years, we have undergone a number of changes, updates, and renovations. Here are some of our highlights over the years!
Loveless Events began operations in 2009 with the building and opening of the Loveless Barn. Envisioned as an expansion to the then-58-year-old Loveless Cafe, design and construction of the Barn began in 2008 and a Grand Opening was held in January 2009. The Barn’s design concept was, and still is, a wide-open space that could accommodate events of all sizes.
While weddings can be considered our primary event type, we also see fundraisers, meetings, birthday parties, rehearsal dinners, concerts, and many other events in the Barn. The Loveless Barn’s design contains a main hall and two porches with soft exterior walls that go up and down in case of inclement weather. We have an outdoor area on one side that is often used as a courtyard for weddings and gatherings. On the opposite side is a large lawn area, great for cocktail hours and networking event receptions. Over the years, we have hosted all sizes and styles of events, with guest counts ranging from 30 up to 1000, so we’re ready for your crowd!
Throughout the first 10 years, we have made many improvements to the Barn including the addition of a beautiful concrete floor finish as well as more evergreen trees and a privacy fence in the courtyard, making it the perfect location for wedding ceremonies with your reception just steps away! We’ve also added a fence and more foliage to the lawn area. Beyond that, we’ve introduced extra amenities to the space, such as an in-house adjustable stage with sound and lighting options, and an HD projector. The Barn venue rental includes our inventory of available tables, chairs, and church pews. Plus, our menu package pricing includes flatware, glassware, china, and linen for your entire guest count! All of these improvements and additional options make the Loveless Barn the perfect space for your event.
Concurrent with the Barn’s opening in 2009, we began full-service catering at off-site venues in the Nashville area as well, and we have now catered at over 100 different event venues and private residences in Middle Tennessee! Our experienced sales team will conduct a venue site visit with you to understand the full needs of your event, going over all the details you might not even know to consider. Our services range from drop-off orders with disposable heating elements for your buffet table, to full-service plated dinners with experienced wait staff and a dedicated event supervisor. We can also add bar service in most of Middle Tennessee! Along with catering services, we can plan a full timeline and floor plan for your event, and include rental items if you’d like us to handle that. One of our most intense off-site catering events involved building a full venue with a kitchen and guest areas in a field!
Most recently, in 2014, we had the opportunity to transform another space at the Loveless Cafe campus into our second dedicated event venue! The Harpeth Room opened in May of 2014. Named after the Harpeth River that runs through Bellevue, the Harpeth Room was designed as the perfect space to host more intimate events such as rehearsal dinners, baby showers, birthday parties, and business meetings. The Harpeth Room was the original Loveless Motel dinning room back in the day, and we were sure to keep that charm with original wooden floors and the original motel room doors on the outside! The porch out front is perfect for a cocktail hour or intimate ceremony. With the Harpeth Room rental, we include an in-house A/V system with music options, a microphone, and a large TV that can be added to show slideshows and presentations.
Over the years we have worked with thousands of clients from Nashville and beyond! We are excited to be a part of this community and to grow alongside the future of this amazing city. Just this year we were voted 2nd Best Wedding Venue in Nashville by the Nashville Scene readers! We have also been honored with local features on Nashville Bridge Guide, the Nashville Convention and Visitor’s Corporation, and the Tennessean, and national accolades from Southern Bride Magazine (5 Reasons to get Married at the Loveless Cafe) and Sophisticated Living Weddings (Nashville’s Finest Event Venues). In 2018, Trisha Yearwood’s “Love for the Loveless Cafe” episode of Trisha’s Southern Kitchen closed with her singing a cappella in the Barn, and it was even more beautiful than you could imagine.
As we celebrate these first 10 years, we are so grateful to all of our past, present and future clients. We are also thankful to have worked with the best vendors in town and to be a part of this thriving city! Stay tuned for more announcements to see how we grow next… you won’t want to miss it!
