As featured in the August 2013 issue of Williamson Social Magazine

Sangria wine punches are an excellent way to entertain large groups with a festive beverage that has a lower alcohol content than many other choices.  Additionally, Sangria budget-friendly and delicious! Click here to read the full blog post on Southern Summertime Sangrias!

Sweet Tea Sangria

2 bottles of red wine*

2 quarts freshly brewed sweet tea (made to your desired level of sweetness)

1 can lemonade concentrate

1 quart fresh strawberries, trimmed and quartered

1 fresh orange, sliced

2 fresh lemons, sliced

Combine all ingredients and mix well.  Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, but overnight is suggested for best results.

Check out the full blog post for serving suggestions.

* You can use most any wine for this recipe, but try any Spanish table wine or red blend.  Sangria is the best way to use up those random bottles of red that are sitting around – you don’t even need to use two of the same kind!
