Melon Mint White Sangria
2 bottles of white wine*
½ cup Brandy, Grand Marnier or Cointreau Liqueur
5 cups cubed fresh melon (watermelon, cantaloupe or honeydew)
1 can pink lemonade concentrate
2 liters sparkling water (add right before serving)
Fresh mint for garnish
Start by combining the white wine, liqueur, fresh melon and pink lemonade concentrate and mix well. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, but overnight is suggested for best results. Right before serving, add sparkling water and garnish with fresh mint. Remove mint before refrigerating any leftover sangria.
* You can use most any wine for this recipe, but try a light, bright wine such as Sauvignon Blanc or Fume Blanc, but even a simple Chardonnay will do just fine!
