Herb & Cheddar Biscuits


The only thing we may love more than a hot, buttery and flaky biscuit is a hot, buttery and flaky biscuit with fresh herbs and cheese. It really is a flavor combination that’s downright irresistible and little pillows of dough are wonderful served alongside any home cooked meal. Just be sure to make plenty! You’ll have folks grabbing for seconds (and thirds and fourths).



Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Pour buttermilk into large bowl. Add mix and begin folding. Before dough is evenly mixed, add in herbs and cheese. Continue mixing, until a smooth dough is formed. Do not knead!

Roll out dough to ½” thick and cut into biscuits, placing them onto a greased or parchment-covered sheet pan. The sides of the biscuits should be touching.
Dough may be re-worked, and kneaded briefly once before cutting into extra biscuits (these will rise higher than the initial biscuits).

Bake biscuits for 10-15 minutes, rotating once about half way through. Allow to cool slightly before serving
