Owners Becca Ganick and Michele Herbert put a contemporary spin on the ancient art of fired clay using unconventional glazing techniques and sculptural forms. In addition to their paintings, sculpture and tableware, Shimai offers fine handcrafted jewelry, textiles, shimmering hand-colored photographs and exquisite turned and carved wood. Featuring some of the area’s finest artisans, we welcome custom orders and can ship any purchase anywhere your heart desires.
