Growing up in Nashville, you come to realize there are certain places in this wonderful city that are legendary for southern food. I have to say, without a doubt my favorite is the Loveless. I honestly can’t tell you when I first visited, but it was many years ago, probably in the mid eighties. Ever since then, it has become a favorite place for my family to celebrate special occasions. It is certainly my favorite place to celebrate my birthday in October. We make the drive out to Highway 100 together, enjoying the company and the scenery. Once we arrive at the Loveless and our table, we immediately order our favorites, including the famous biscuits and peach preserves. I have to say my favorite thing is biting into one of your fantastic biscuits with some butter and smothered in either peach preserves or honey! After we finish our meal, we roll ourselves out the door, stuffed to the brim, and tour the shops and the Loveless store. The trip is usually concluded with a drive down the Natchez Trace before we head back toward home. Thank you, Loveless Cafe, for the incredible food and the years of birthday memories! I look forward to celebrating many more with ya’ll!
